The KG-CT-POE-EXT-1X2 expands an existing PoE connection to support 2 compatible IP cameras. A single input cable carries data and power to the extender; local branch cables allow additional cameras without running another cable from the switch.
It has 1 PoE IN port and 2 PoE OUT ports operating at 10/100 Mbps. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at, a voltage of 44–57 V DC, up to 30 W input and a total output of 25.5 W shared across the 2 ports. The number of cameras it can power depends on their combined consumption and cable losses.
The engineering-plastic housing measures 140 × 85 × 32 mm and weighs 0.15 kg. Its sliding cover provides access to the connectors; KONGIA is engraved on the housing. Mount the unit vertically with cables facing down and connections protected. It draws power from PoE IN, without an additional local power supply. Cameras, the PoE power source and cables are sold separately.

Do I need to run another cable from the switch?
You can reuse the existing input PoE link and add up to 2 compatible cameras using short cables from the extender outputs. Check the data capacity and power budget of the link.
What differs between the 1-to-2, 1-to-3 and 1-to-4 models?
All three share the same dimensions, weight, speed, voltage and power budget. The functional difference is the number of PoE outputs: 2, 3 or 4.
Can each output deliver 25.5 W?
No. The 25.5 W rating is the maximum total shared across the 2 outputs. Maximum input power is 30 W; extender consumption and cable losses reduce the power available to the cameras.
Does it need a local power adapter?
No. It receives power from a compatible PoE switch or injector connected to PoE IN. The upstream PoE power source is sold separately.
Can I connect non-PoE equipment to the outputs?
No. The outputs are intended for compatible PoE devices; do not connect computers, switches or other non-PoE equipment.
How should it be installed?
On a wall, vertically, with cables facing down and connections protected from rain.
