KS STD series, 145 mm: serrated-blade scissors for cutting Kevlar and aramid yarns, with stainless steel 3Cr13 blades and yellow loop handles.
The STD version corresponds to the KONGIA scissors previously identified as KG-FT-KS. Shares the aramid reinforcement cutting function with the ERGO version; differs in its yellow loop handles. The serrated edge helps grip yarns during cutting.

Is this the same pair of scissors as KG-FT-KS?
Yes. KG-FT-KS-145-STD is the new identification for the standard 145 mm version with yellow handles.
What is the difference from the ERGO version?
Both cut aramid yarns and have a serrated 3Cr13 blade and a length of 145 mm. ERGO includes orange/gray handles with soft inserts.
Does it replace a precision fiber cleaver?
No. It is used for the cable's aramid reinforcement; use a precision cleaver to prepare the glass end before fusion splicing.
