Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to help you select and request this product.

What changes compared with KG-CT-IPC-X560 Pro?

The additional function is optical fiber OTDR. The platform, exterior design and IP CCTV, coaxial video, HDMI, power, Wi-Fi and copper testing functions are retained.

What does 8K mean on this tester?

It refers to the camera main stream: H.265 up to 8K at 24 fps. The physical screen is 1920 × 1080. The site also mentions 12 MP without specifying the profile; both references are retained without treating them as equivalent.

What does the Interface section include?

OPM/Optical Power Meter, RS485, power/LED light, analog input, VFL, 3.5 mm audio, PoE/Ethernet, DC12V/3A, USB-C, USB, wiring test, microSD and OTDR. The photo also shows HDMI IN. OPM appears twice in English but refers to the same function.

Is OTDR included? What about OPM and VFL?

Yes, OTDR is included in KG-FT-OTDR-IPC-X560. This variant retains the same exterior and functions as KG-CT-IPC-X560 Pro and adds OTDR. OPM and VFL remain configuration-dependent options; their inclusion cannot be inferred from the presence of OTDR.

Are HDMI and coaxial video included?

Yes. Although the manufacturer marks them as optional, the previously defined KONGIA configuration includes HDMI IN up to 4K and CVI/TVI/AHD up to 8 MP. SDI remains optional; this page provides no SDI specification.

What battery and runtime does it have?

The site lists 7.4 V/3200 mAh, 4 h charging and up to 7 h runtime in one section; another lists 7.4 V/2600 mAh, 3 h charging and up to 5 h. The supplied unit must be specified in the quotation.

What are its dimensions?

183 × 110 × 40 mm according to the attached drawing and final table; reference weight 0.42 kg. The other table lists 155 × 90 × 32 mm/0.30 kg, which does not match the drawing shown.

What is the difference between the TDR modes?

The integrated network TDR checks pairs and electrical parameters in copper. The optional open-circuit locator reaches up to 3 km on BNC/network/telephone cable and does not measure short-circuit length. OTDR is optical fiber reflectometry and is included in this SKU. The 3 km published for copper TDR is not the OTDR range.

Which functions are optional on the website?

Cable tracing, live-wire detection, AHD/CVI/TVI, HDMI IN, OPM, VFL and open-circuit TDR. KONGIA explicitly includes HDMI IN and AHD/CVI/TVI in this SKU; supply of the remaining options must be confirmed. KG-FT-OTDR-IPC-X560 also includes OTDR according to the confirmed configuration for this product.

What does the kit include and what warranty is provided?

Handheld unit with a KONGIA 3-year warranty. The quotation defines the charger, cables, case and modules/accessories. Cameras and external equipment shown in illustrations are not included.

What are the OTDR distance and dynamic range?

The reference page identifies the OTDR interface but does not publish distance range, wavelengths or dynamic range. These values must be specified in the datasheet for the supplied module.
