KONGIA 10 mW VFL visual fault locator for identifying breaks and checking optical fiber continuity. Emits red light at 650 ± 10 nm, features a universal 2.5 mm connector for SC, FC and ST, and allows continuous or flashing light to be selected using a slide switch.
The stated range is up to 10 km as a reference and depends on fiber type, losses and test conditions. For 1.25 mm LC connectors, an FC-LC adapter purchased separately is required.
The textured aluminum alloy body provides a secure grip, and the flip cover protects the interface. Runs on two AA alkaline batteries. Do not look directly into the laser output or the end of an illuminated fiber.
