Specialized compression tool for assembling and closing field-termination modular plugs and shielded Cat6A/Cat7/Cat8 jacks.
In a professional workflow, this SKU is intended for uniform closure of field-termination plugs and higher-category shielded connectors without deforming their housings. Parallel-jaw pressing mechanism to seat and close toolless metal modular connectors. Ensures uniform 360° compression on die-cast zinc shielded housings of Cat6A, Cat7 and Cat8 connectors. Prevents deformation of shield tabs and ensures complete contact with the drain wire and metal braid. The intended benefit is repeatable results, an organized process and reduced rework during installation or maintenance.
