KONGIA manual wire stripper and cutter for preparing network and telephone cables. The knob adjusts stripping-blade depth to suit the cable diameter and jacket thickness; the central blade trims copper conductors before termination.
The gray plastic body incorporates support guides and a return spring. Its 110 mm length and approximate 38 g net weight make it easy to carry in an installer's kit. Supports round or flat cables that fit the guides; the stated stripping range is 3.2 to 6 mm.
For round cable, first adjust the blade on a sample, score the jacket by turning manually and remove the cut section. Check that internal conductor insulation remains intact. Work with the cable disconnected and check the termination with an appropriate tester. This tool prepares cable; it does not crimp connectors.
