Complete fiber optic splicer KIT with case, tools and accessories included as listed in the contents. The sales unit is one complete KIT.

The KONGIA A900 PRO is the high-end model in our new generation of fiber optic splicers, upgraded from the A80S platform. It integrates 6 motors with autofocus, core and cladding alignment, an optical power meter (OPM) and a visual fault locator (VFL) in a single device for FTTH/FTTx network installation and maintenance.

Compared with the standard A700 PRO and A800 PRO configurations, the A900 PRO includes OPM and VFL as standard and a multifunction case with an accessory drawer, cleaver table and detachable stool. Typical times remain 8 s for splicing and 18 s for heating; its main improvement is integrated testing functions and field work organization.

It supports SM, MM, DS and NZDS fibers, automatic, semiautomatic and manual modes, a 5-inch HD capacitive touchscreen, 300x magnification and 1000 records. The removable 6700 mAh battery provides approximately 200 splicing and heating cycles under typical conditions. The interface offers 10 languages, including Spanish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to help you select and request this product.

What improvements does it offer over A80S, A700 PRO and A800 PRO?

It is a high-end evolution of A80S with 6 motors. Compared with the standard A700/A800 PRO configurations, it adds integrated OPM and VFL and a multifunction case. Typical splicing and heating times remain 8 s and 18 s.

Are OPM and VFL included as standard?

Yes. This configuration includes both functions. The OPM offers -70 to +10 dBm and 10 bands between 850 and 1650 nm; the VFL checks continuity and locates visible faults.

Does the VFL guarantee locating any fault at 15 km?

No. Approximately 15 km is a reference stated for this platform. Actual range depends on fiber type, link losses, connections and viewing conditions. Do not look directly into the port or the end of a live fiber.

What fibers does it support?

SM G.652/G.657, MM G.651, DS G.653 y NZDS G.655. It supports preset programs and custom fiber types.

What do the splice losses mean?

They are typical values: 0.02 dB for SM, 0.01 dB for MM and 0.04 dB for DS/NZDS. The on-screen estimate does not replace optical link measurement.

What runtime does it offer?

The removable 6700 mAh battery provides approximately 200 splicing and heating cycles. Runtime depends on heater, OPM and VFL use and environmental conditions; charging takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Does it support Spanish and record export?

Yes. It offers 10 languages including Spanish, stores 1000 records and has USB for export and function updates.

Which sleeves and connectors does it use?

It supports 20-60 mm heat-shrink sleeves and connectors compatible with the included SOC adapter. Adjust the heater and program to the consumable used.

What does the case include?

Case with drawer, cleaver table, detachable stool, equipment, cleaver, 7-in-1 stripper, cleaning tools, SOC adapter, spare electrodes, charger and consumables listed in the packing list.

Is the stated weight for the equipment or the kit?

The machine weighs approximately 1.90 kg with battery. The illustrated kit with case and accessories weighs approximately 5.60 kg; its reference packaged weight is 6.15 kg. Final shipping weight depends on packaging and configuration.
