The KONGIA D5 is a portable device with three functions for installation and maintenance: optical power measurement, LED lighting and RJ45 cable testing. This version runs on two replaceable AAA alkaline batteries and does not support recharging.
The InGaAs detector measures from -50 to +26 dBm and covers a spectral range of 800 to 1700 nm. It has ten calibrated wavelengths, memory for up to 500 records and a backlit LCD. It supports reference value review and manual calibration.
The RJ45 remote module is integrated into the base and released using the PRESS button. Connected to the other end of the cable, it checks continuity and sequence of the eight wires. The LED light facilitates connection inspection in dark locations. The device shuts down automatically after ten minutes on standby.

Can the D5 be recharged?
No. This version runs on two replaceable AAA alkaline batteries (LR03) and does not support recharging.
What functions does this version include?
Optical power measurement (OPM), LED lighting and RJ45 testing. It does not include a visual fault locator (VFL).
How does it differ from the DC5010?
The D5 is the three-function version with AAA batteries and no recharging. The KG-FT-OPM4IN1-DC5010 is rechargeable and adds VFL to its OPM, LED and RJ45 functions.
What is the optical power range?
This D5 version measures from -50 to +26 dBm and uses an InGaAs detector.
How many records and wavelengths does it support?
