KONGIA Cat6 unshielded Keystone jack with 180° punch-down termination and a short body. For terminating cable in user outlets, wall plates and modular boxes with a compatible fit. Installation requires a compatible opening, retaining tab and depth; the Keystone format does not guarantee a universal fit. Does not replace the removable multiport blocks of KONGIA preloaded panels with IDC 110 termination. Performance depends on the complete channel, its components, length and terminations. This accessory's category alone does not upgrade an existing installation's category.

Recommended Applications

Applications - Cat6 UTP 180° Punch-Down Keystone Jack with a short body

Workstations and Classrooms

Horizontal cable termination in a user plate with a compatible opening.

Surface and Floor Boxes

Integration into modular boxes, allowing for depth, cable orientation and bend radius.

Compatible Keystone Frames

Installation in supports designed for individual jacks; not as a replacement for multiport blocks in preloaded IDC 110 panels.

Outlet Maintenance

Replacement of an individual module followed by termination and link testing.

Key Benefits

  • Punch-Down Termination: Seat conductors using the appropriate blade and impact setting for the IDC block.
  • 180° Orientation: Short body: consider the total depth with the cable installed, not just the module size.
  • Unshielded Connection: For UTP installations
  • does not provide shield continuity between shielded cables.
  • User Outlet Installation: Installation requires a compatible opening, retaining tab and depth
  • the Keystone format does not guarantee a universal fit.
  • Individual Maintenance: Allows replacement of a module in a compatible outlet. Does not replace the removable multiport blocks of KONGIA preloaded panels with IDC 110 termination.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to help you select and request this product.

Does it replace modules in KONGIA preloaded IDC 110 panels?

Does not replace the removable multiport blocks of KONGIA preloaded panels with IDC 110 termination. These panels require the specific replacement block for their manufacturer and model.

How does it differ from an RJ45 coupler?

The jack terminates conductors in its rear block. A female-to-female coupler connects two cables that already have RJ45 plugs.

How is mechanical compatibility determined?

Installation requires a compatible opening, retaining tab and depth; the Keystone format does not guarantee a universal fit. Also allow space for the connected cable or plug.

Does the category alone guarantee speed or PoE power?

Performance depends on the complete channel, its components, length and terminations. This accessory's category alone does not upgrade an existing installation's category. For PoE applications, check that all components and their installation are suitable for the project's power and operating conditions.

Which colors can be selected?

White, black, red, blue, green and orange. Colors identify circuits according to the project and do not change the Cat6 category. The orange option is illustrated with a group photograph; the selected color is supplied, not an assortment.

Choosing this model

For Cat6 outlets requiring 180° cable exit and punch-down termination.

Before ordering: Confirm conductor gauge and construction, panel opening and rear clearance. Confirm that the project calls for an unshielded jack.
