Is this the compact 105 mm model?
No. This page describes a configuration in the M20 family. The 105 mm model is shown as another selectable reference and retains its own dimensions.
What is included?
1 RJ45 panel module with mounting nut, gaskets and tethered cap. The two long housings of a complete coupler and Ethernet cable are not included.
Does it increase the maximum link length?
No. It is a passive connection; performance depends on the complete channel, its cables, connectors and terminations.
When is the port protected?
When compatible parts and gaskets are correctly installed. An open socket or connection without a suitable housing and seal does not have the closed assembly's protection.
