What is included?
1 RJ45 female-to-female panel module with tethered cap, rear housing, entry nut and sealing components. Ethernet cable not included.
Does it increase the maximum link length?
No. It is a passive connection; performance depends on the complete channel, its cables, connectors and terminations.
When is the port protected?
When compatible parts and gaskets are correctly installed. An open socket or connection without a suitable housing and seal does not have the closed assembly's protection.
