The KG-RJ45-CP-C6A-WP facilitates Ethernet cable joining for CCTV, outdoor network and equipment integration projects. Its two RJ45 female 8P8C ports accept compatible plugs and allow a protected connection without IDC termination inside the coupler.
The PA66 nylon housing measures 120 mm long and 28 mm in outside diameter. The threaded closure, gaskets and cable glands at both ends work with cables of 4.5 to 7.5 mm diameter. Orange rings identify this Cat6A configuration.
Supports Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A cables with suitably sized plugs. The shown 17.5 mm opening allows preterminated cables when the plug and boot fit through it. Final performance depends on the complete channel, and IP68 protection requires closed, correctly sealed assembly.

Can it be used with Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A?
Yes, with RJ45 8P8C plugs and compatible dimensions. Link category and speed are limited by the lowest-performing component. The family image shows models of different categories, not three units included with this SKU.
How is it installed with a preterminated cable?
1. Open the nuts and bodies. 2. Check that the plug and boot pass through the opening, and fit the parts and seal onto the cable. 3. Insert each plug into the central module until retained. 4. Seat the gaskets, close the bodies and tighten the cable glands around the jacket. Inspect both ends before environmental exposure.
What cable diameter and plug size does it accept?
The cable jacket must measure between 4.5 and 7.5 mm. The shown pass-through opening is 17.5 mm; the plug and boot assembly must pass without forcing or damaging the seal.
Is it a punch-down module or a coupler?
It is an RJ45 female-to-female coupler. It accepts preterminated plugs; it does not have 90° or 180° IDC termination.
What conditions does IP68 protection require?
Intact, correctly seated gaskets and both cable glands closed around compatible cables. Do not open the assembly while wet or interpret IP68 as unlimited permanent immersion.
Does the UTP version maintain shielding in a shielded link?
Shield continuity is not specified for this UTP version. For a shielded channel, select a declared shielded coupler and compatible system components.
