The KG-RJ45-IW-C6A-S-CP-30 is a short-body shielded Cat6A coupler for integrating an RJ45 interface into equipment panels and enclosures. The 8P8C female-to-female module connects preterminated plugs without IDC punch-down inside the product.
Its 30 mm length distinguishes it from assemblies with long rear housings. The package includes M23 threaded nut mounting, orange gasket and tethered cap. The rear connection is made inside the equipment enclosure, without an included cable gland.
The PA66 nylon body and shielded module structure provide interconnection for Cat6A networks up to 10 Gbps and 500 MHz. Performance depends on the complete channel and shield continuity with other components.
IP68 protection requires compatible mounting and closure fully sealed. The cap covers the port when not in use; a conventional plug connection with an open port must not be considered watertight. For a quote, specify the SKU and required assembly quantity.

Is it the same product as KG-RJ45-IW-C6A-S-CP?
No. This 30 mm reference is the compact feed-through module with nut, gasket and cap. KG-RJ45-IW-C6A-S-CP measures 77 mm and includes rear housing and cable gland. They are sold as different configurations.
Does it have RJ45 female ports on both sides?
Yes. It is an 8P8C female-to-female coupler for RJ45 plugs; not a jack with IDC punch-down conductor termination.
How is it installed in the panel?
1. Check the opening, panel thickness and plug clearance using the actual assembly. 2. Seat the gasket, insert the body and secure it with the nut without deforming the panel or gasket. 3. Connect the rear RJ45 plug inside the protected enclosure. 4. Keep the front cap closed when not in use and inspect the entire assembly's sealing.
Can I drill at 23 mm or use a 5.5 mm panel?
The 23 mm and 5.5 mm dimensions refer to drawing elements, not a complete template or permissible panel thickness. Determine machining and retention from the parts and mounting design.
Does it include a cable gland or rear housing?
No. This package contains the compact module, retained cap, nut and gasket. The rear face must be protected by the equipment enclosure.
When does IP68 apply?
With the panel gasket seated and the compatible front closure fully sealed. A conventional plug in an open port does not create an IP68 connection on its own. Unlimited immersion or pressure washing is not stated; also keep the rear connection protected.
What does a shielded installation require?
Compatible shielded cable and plugs, shield continuity and the system's intended grounding. The coupler does not upgrade other components' categories or remove channel length limits.
