The KG-RJ45-IW-C6A-S-CP offers a shielded RJ45 Cat6A connection for integrating Ethernet ports into equipment panels and enclosures. Combines an 8P8C female-to-female module with M23 threaded mounting, rear housing and tethered front cap.
Its black PA66 nylon body measures 77 × 25 mm according to the supplied drawing. The orange gasket and rear cable gland form part of the closure system. The cap remains attached to cover the port when not in use.
Intended for video surveillance, communications and Ethernet equipment integration projects. Performance of up to 10 Gbps depends on the complete channel; to maintain shielding, use compatible shielded plugs and cable and system grounding.
IP68 protection requires fully closed and sealed assembly. An open front port or one connected to a conventional plug without watertight closure does not form an IP68 connection. For a quote, specify the SKU and required assembly quantity.

How does it differ from KG-RJ45-CP-C6A-WP?
This reference is a Cat6A STP panel coupler in M23 format, with retained cap and a length of 77 mm. KG-RJ45-CP-C6A-WP is the 120 mm UTP version for inline connections with two cable closures. They are different mechanical configurations.
Is it an IDC punch-down jack?
No. The module connects RJ45 plugs through 8P8C female ports. Plug preparation or crimping, when required, is performed on the cable, not inside an IDC block.
How is it installed?
1. Check panel opening, thickness and rear space using the actual parts. 2. Secure the threaded module with the gasket correctly seated. 3. Slide the nut, seal and rear housing onto the cable; first check whether the plug and boot can pass through. 4. Connect the plug to the rear port, close the housing and tighten the cable gland around the jacket. 5. Close the front cap when the port is not in use and inspect the sealing.
Is M23 the panel drilling diameter?
M23 is the specified product format, not a complete machining template. Determine the opening and permissible thickness from the assembly and its mounting; do not use the 25 mm outside measurement as the cutout diameter.
Does the 7.5 mm measurement define the cable range?
No. The image identifies an opening in the sealing insert. The cable must fit the seal and allow full closure. Also check plug and boot passage through the shown 14.5 mm opening.
Does a conventional patch cord connected at the front maintain IP68?
Not on its own. Protection requires a compatible front closure and sealing of the complete assembly. Keep the cap closed when disconnected; an open port or plug without a watertight enclosure is not sealed.
Does IP68 mean permanent immersion or pressure washing?
No immersion depth or duration is published for this reference. Do not use it as a guarantee of unlimited immersion or resistance to high-pressure jets.
